A local mall hosted a dance competition similar to the tv show America's Best Dance Crew. The left logo was chosen by vote from the teens involved in the competition.
This client created their name from the Cumberland River, which flows through Nashville, TN. The client requested several different ideas for a first proof and we arrived at the final, bottom logo.

This is a logo for a non-profit organization which researches policies up for vote by the state legislature who requested varied ideas for the first proof. They chose elements that they liked, such as the variation of the tri-star Tennessee flag, to arrive at a final version.
This client wished for a calendar in made to look like an iPod Touch. In this instance, I was able to use my illustration skills to create this image from a photo of the iPod online as well as setting the text.
Another local mall hosted an event for breast cancer awareness, for which I designed the layout. The shoe they had chosen was black, and needed to be changed to pink in photoshop while still retaining the realistic detail.
This client wanted a newsletter design that was somewhat edgy as they work with youth, but really toned down as the newsletters are sent to their sponsors. Previously, a design firm handled their work, and they liked the fonts, which I used in their design. They liked this design and only made a change to their logo before approval.
A couple of postcards I designed for my previous employer during my downtime. It would have been a set of three cards advertising for design as well as printing, but the project was canceled due to time restraints and the downturn in the economy.
This is a design proof I created for a cosmetic surgeon in Nashville. The final piece was more simple in appearance, but I feel this is the stronger design.

The Austism Society wanted their newsletter updated, while sticking to two colors as before. They liked dark backgrounds and the use of gradients, but the project was put on hold due to the economy.
My well-liked boss with a good sense of humor (and an appreciation for beer) turned 40, and our department decided to have a little fun at his expense.
my personal wedding invitation package. I wanted a self-mailer to save time and effort for myself. I designed the layout, created the mail-merge in PrinShop Mail and printed the pieces on a Xerox DC5000. The pieces were sent out for die cutting and returned to me for finishing.
This is a report issued every year by a non-partison group interested in pointing out wasted government spending, as in pork barrel spending, hence the title the port report. I played off of this message by creating the state of Tennessee in Bacon for the cover. The logo was also created by myself for this project.
BlackList is a mixed martial arts studio, and this is a poster, business card, and postcard which I designed for them.
